The most common reason for sewing, is the desire for clothes, just the way we want them, which then leads to designing our own clothes.

Sewing and the internet The internet can take sewing to a whole new space. No where near grandma's house. We're talking Cyber space. Women, men and children are all getting into the act. Fashion Runway and Fashion Show are full of men, and sewing studios consists of kids sewing parties these days. The kids can design and sew their own garment. It's not just for grandma anymore.
